Song Info :  "I traveled to Japan several times in the early nineties while performing with a band. Some of the experiences I remember most vividly were visiting the Shinto shrines there. They have such peace and majesty, and a sense of connection to nature and the history of the people.

I think that among experiences that are universal between all people are music and the sense of connection to nature and their past. The song 'Shinto' came out of these feelings. For me, it represents my connections to the natural world and other people.

If we could all just learn to recognize these common experiences in one another, we would be a long way towards achieving peace." - Bill
